Thanks to seasonal advertising pointed at the "Dad who has everything," I was waching Vision Quest on ESPN Classic tonight and saw these drill bits advertised. Grabit. They are made for stripped out drill bits and even work on hex bolts which they usually use to mount skatestoppers on ledges.ÂÂÂ
"2-piece 'Pro Grabit' provides the perfect solution for removing damaged
screws & fasteners. Each ingeniously designed 'bit' is double-ended
- one 'end' is used as a burnisher to effectively clean out the damaged
fastener head. Rotating the 'bit' reveals the 2nd 'end'; by applying
steady pressure, this end will 'bite' & tap into the screw head
enabling it to be removed."
